I’ve only done the 2 programs so far. Next week it will be a recording of the wonderful Jeannine Parvati Baker. Looking forward to sharing that with my readers.

  2. Dear me I got a little sniffly hearing you in my study again like you’re sitting next to me. How lovely, I’m so thrilled to be able to share this with women! *kotc* Thanks, G. 🙂

  3. Thank you so much for your “Pelvises I Have Known and Loved” blog talk! I was just this week again told by my CNM that I never could have birthed my 11 lb 7 oz baby because there was no way he would have fit, and that there was no point in even attempting a VBAC for my next one because babies just get bigger. I left very unsettled, and have been considering all week whether or not I should be discouraged and resigned to believe what she said, or to keep on believing what all of my studies have told me and keep on planning for a VBAC. You have reaffirmed my instinct that God/nature has designed my body to be able to birth the baby that my body grows. Thank you again, and thank you to a wonderful home birth midwife I know for pointing me in your direction.

  4. Hi Heather, thanks for your comment. A baby weighing 11 lbs 7 oz in a first pregnancy would indicate that you might be gestational diabetic. You can “prevent” a gestational diabetic pregnancy by following the regimen for gestational diabetes even before becoming pregnant. It’s actually a good lifestyle and diet for anyone. Gloria

  5. It was great to hear from Jeannine today. I’ve really enjoyed all your programs so far. I only wish there was a midwife like you in my area.
