  1. I haven’t gotten a chance to watch the videos yet, but I’m looking forward to it. This info needs to be out there! I stopped vaccinating my children in 1999 and haven’t regretted it for a second. I regret not researching it before my oldest was born, I believe her Type 1 Diabetes may have been caused by her vaccines. It is listed as a known side effect from the MMR shot and is suspected to be a side effect of the Hep B shot, both of them she received. My best advice to anyone questioning vaccines for their children, themselves or their pets is to read the package inserts and look up the ingredients. You can find most of them here (http://www.vaccinesafety.edu/package_inserts.htm) and here (http://www.vaclib.org/chapter/inserts.htm).

  2. Very interesting, thank you Gloria.
Just before my 13 year old daughter was born, I read the book “A shot in the dark”, I don’t even remember how it got to my hands, but what matters is that it did and I’m thankful for that. But I didn’t stop there, how could I? my naturopath recomended other books and I also went to the local health unit and my dr. office for inf. (I wanted to see both sides). I was 21, but not stupid, even though English is my second language and my spelling is not the best, I understand what I read and the inf. is out there for everybody.
I’m also thankful that vaccines are not mandatory in BC, and amazes me that not everybody knows this, not even the secretary that told me I could not enroll my daughter in school ’cause she wasn’t vaxed and didn’t have that little record book, good thing I had the inf. on paper for her to “learn” that she was wrong. She attended school from K-gr.2, but I “saw the village” and didn’t want it raising my child anymore. Since then both of my DDs have been “Organically grown” and “unschooled”, they learn what they want, and they know there’s another way to avoid or fight disease other than pharmaceuticals…Diet and hygiene, part of their “schooling”. But my 13 year old’s fav. lesson is still my last pregnancy/home waterbirth of our intact son in July 2009, she didn’t left my side for the 28 hrs. of labor. And I know that, if in the future, it is up to her, she will not take her brother or sister to get vaccinated.
    Be well.

  3. @Jessica, yes, and when you read the package insert, you’d better have a good magnifying glass because the printing is very tiny. One of my friends had her spleen removed at 8 yr old because she developed idiopathic thrombocytopenia. This made it very complicated when she was pregnant at 30 y.o. When her own daughter was about 4 yrs old she got tired of arguing about vax and went to have her shot up. She took a magnifying glass and read the side effects before doing it. Guess what? one of the possible side effects is “idiopathic thrombocytopenia”. She took her daughter home and said “No thanks”.

  4. Interesting, Gloria.

Only, I can see the trailer via your website, but living in Italy, I guess it’s blocked on Youtube…
